Rep. Liz Thomson has represented New Mexico’s 24th District since 2013, where she is the chair of the Consumer and Public Affairs Committee and a member of the Health and Human Services, and Printing and Supplies committees.

A member of AFT, Thomson has been a dedicated advocate for the public education system and has championed recent legislation that provides a framework for the widespread implementation of community schools in New Mexico for the first time.

Thomson lives in Albuquerque where she works as a pediatric physical therapist.
